When the LOMMF is employed with a VCSEL light source you can obtain a 2000MHz EMB (Effective Modal Bandwidth) in the 850NM window, this is more than 3 times the bandwidth of traditional multimode fiber. LC Connectors (Lucent™ connector) standardized as FOCIS-10 are a small form factor connector ideal for high density applications in data centers, telecommunication closets, CATV systems, central office and other applications that require a small footprint, high performance connection. The LC to LC fiber jumper employs duplex clips on both ends to insure proper polarity during installation.
